Role Description
The Sales Manager is responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing activities. This individual will represent, position, and support related activities, as well as initiate new projects and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Position Overview:
- Identify potential development-driven leads and support the sales team in screening and development
- Follow the pipeline of development opportunities, working closely with the development team to secure interests up to closing
- Develop and maintain relationships related to water solutions developments
- Support the risk assessment process for projects
- Guide the sales team through the development process and activities
- Support the legal engagement process, participating in and leading contractual engagements
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 7 years experience in a sales/business development position
- MBA is a plus
- Proven experience in managing large and complex sales processes and/or collaborating with the public sector
- Skill in allocating and prioritizing resources to overcome challenges and meet revenue goals
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Comprehensive understanding of contemporary industrial practices and processes
- Capable of leading and collaborating a team
- Experience in the water treatment field/infrastructure/projects
- Relevant technical/engineering background is a plus
- Strong analytical skills to identify market threats and opportunities
- Negotiation and presentation skills
- Practical aptitude, self-motivated, and a confident communicator
- Successfully pass a background test and drug test
