Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct GHG verification under the California Air Resources Board (CARB) Mandatory Reporting Regulation (MRR) and Cap-and-Trade project verification under CARB's Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS).
- Manage GHG emissions reporting under various regulatory programs, including Oregon's CFP and GHG Emissions Programs, California's GHG Reporting Program (GHGRP), and federal GHG Reporting Program.
- Provide GHG and sustainability reporting and validation services for corporate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) programs.
- Collaborate on Climate Action Plans, Sustainability Plans, and Reports to support clients' sustainability initiatives.
- Perform technical work such as developing verification/validation plans, conducting risk-based sampling, completing calculations, compiling verification findings, and preparing permitting documentation.
- Conduct field activities including GHG verification site visits, facility inspections, and sample collection.
- Assist in the development of GHG inventories, sustainability reports, CEQA/NEPA documentation, and climate change studies.
- Engage with clients, prepare proposals, and contribute to business development efforts as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering, or a related Science field.
- CARB verifier accreditation.
- Experience in GHG/Sustainability/Air Quality or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated knowledge of GHG inventories and/or Air Quality Compliance.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
