Position Summary
This is a full-time remote position for a Regional Sales Manager with a strong emphasis on sales management. The role involves managing and expanding sales within a designated region, particularly targeting wastewater treatment plants. Experience in selling to these facilities is essential, with a preference for those with municipal plant experience. Key responsibilities include identifying potential customers, building relationships, conducting sales presentations, negotiating contracts, and providing excellent customer service. The Regional Sales Manager will also manage, motivate, and train manufacturer's representatives to market products and identify new opportunities.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Strong skills in sales and negotiation
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining customer relationships
- Self-driven and results-oriented
- Capable of working independently and remotely
- Experience with manufacturer's representatives is advantageous
- Background in the environmental industry is beneficial
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
- Experience in selling to wastewater treatment plants is required, with a preference for municipal plant experience
