Company Overview
A leading provider of advanced water technology company is looking for a Sales Manager who will be responsible for managing relationships and driving results with channel partners and water utilities in the SE Asia region for water technology business. This role encompasses all aspects of partner relationships, including sales, marketing, ordering, and stock management. The job holder will also assist the Sales Director with sales and marketing activities to achieve company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue from various sales channels. Build strong relationships with distributors and resellers to ensure consistent sales growth and market penetration.
- Travel frequently within the assigned territory to meet with clients and partners. Gather insights on market conditions, customer needs, and competitive activities. Provide detailed reports to management, highlighting potential opportunities and challenges.
- Actively seek out new projects and business opportunities. Utilize Salesforce to track and manage the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of sales activities and progress. Analyze sales data to identify trends and make informed decisions.
- Participate in and support marketing events such as seminars, roadshows, and exhibitions. Engage with customers and prospects to showcase the company's products and solutions. Provide valuable insights and feedback to the marketing team to improve event effectiveness
- Clearly communicate the unique benefits and features of the company's products and services. Use high-level selling techniques to demonstrate how the company's offerings stand out from competitors. Tailor presentations to address specific customer needs and pain points, ensuring a compelling value proposition.
Key Requirement:
- Degree or relevant experience with a verifiable track record.
- 5+ years of sales experience in water technology within SEA municipalities.
- At least 5 years of water technology sales experience in the SEA municipal market.
- Significant experience in sales and account management within a channel environment.
- A strong customer-first mindset.
- Experience in sales, regional account management, and channel management on an international scale.
