Regional Civil Engineering Lead

We are looking for a Regional Civil Engineering Lead based in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong civil engineering skills, a robust regional network, and business development expertise. This role is crucial for expanding our civil engineering presence in the Seattle area and collaborating with our current engineering leadership.
Qualifications:
- ABET-accredited degree in Civil Engineering.
- 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Licensed Professional Engineer in the hiring state.
- Current NCEES license.
- Ability to build and lead a regional civil engineering team.
- Expertise in project and program management.
- Experience in land development, transportation, and municipal civil engineering.
- Strong business development skills and network.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, WaterCAD, Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis, ArcGIS, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent technical writing skills.

Responsibilities:

- Negotiate and execute contracts.
- Oversee project calculations, plans, reports, and specifications.

- Develop preliminary budgets and cost estimates.
- Schedule projects and manage staff resources.
- Advise on continuing education needs.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Lead project interviews.
This role primarily involves office work with occasional site visits for verifications and surveys.
