Job Title: Senior Water Technical Lead
Location: Concord, CA (hybrid availability)
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Water Technical Lead to oversee the technical development of drinking water projects in California. You will collaborate closely with project managers and technical experts to ensure projects are completed successfully and meet client requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Engineer-of-Record for design projects.
- Conduct site reviews and studies to ensure design compatibility with location constraints.
- Coordinate daily activities of multi-disciplinary teams, review designs, reports, and memoranda to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
- Update client and design requirement, meet with clients to understand their needs and review strategies.
- Provide technical guidance, supervision, and training to junior staff.
- Develop white papers and technical documentation to contribute to technical knowledge management.
- Work with sales staff on technical approaches for proposals.
- Act as the primary contact for external clients and industry contacts.
- Collaborate with clients and government officials to address technical questions.
- Attend conferences to enhance the firm's visibility.
Required Skills/Attributes:
- Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- 12+ years of related experience.
- PE registered in CA.
Desired Skills/Attributes:
- Experience in consulting, managing projects involving report production, evaluation of project alternatives, and design of water-treatment projects.
- Ability to manage projects and tasks and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Perform data collection, analysis, and modeling to support water resource planning and decision-making.

Salary: $140,000 - $240,000 per year, based on experience, plus discretionary bonuses.
