The Opportunity
Our client is looking for a Project Manager to oversee the execution of small to medium-sized Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC)/Service projects within the water business. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the projects, including risk, cost, schedule, quality, and client satisfaction. In addition, you will lead multi-discipline teams and coordinate the activities of engineering, procurement, construction, and startup to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Management: Oversee the day-to-day management of small to medium EPC/Service projects, ensuring performance, financial metrics, planning, schedules, quality, and safety are met.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage teams of multi-discipline professionals, ensuring successful staffing and project execution.
- Risk Management: Monitor and mitigate risks related to fixed price engineering, new technology, or new clients.
- Client Relations: Manage multiple clients and projects, driving new and repeat business, and supporting contract negotiations.
- Coordination: Integrate activities of the project team, including third-party companies, to ensure smooth engineering, procurement, construction, and startup operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Typically 7 years of experience in project management, particularly within the water infrastructure or related sectors.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience managing EPC/Service projects and leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, motor vehicle records search, etc.) as applicable.
