As a Water/Wastewater Project Manager, you will lead and manage a variety of projects aimed at improving water and wastewater infrastructure. From advanced treatment facilities to pump station upgrades, you will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will collaborate with a talented team of engineers, planners, and environmental scientists to deliver innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs and contribute to a sustainable future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage water and wastewater projects, including planning, design, and construction phases. For example, oversee the design and implementation of advanced water treatment facilities that significantly improve water quality for major metropolitan areas.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality control plans.
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to ensure project requirements are met. This includes managing the rehabilitation of aging sewer systems to reduce overflow incidents and improve environmental compliance.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
- Prepare and present project proposals, reports, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Supervise the construction and maintenance of pump stations, enhancing efficiency and reliability in the water distribution network.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in water/wastewater project management.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
