Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team, focusing on overseeing high-rise construction projects throughout NYC. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects from inception to completion, with specific expertise in high-rise developments.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall planning, coordination, and execution of high-rise construction projects in NYC.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with stakeholders including clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Oversee quality control and safety protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Proactively identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project delays or cost overruns.
- Lead and mentor project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure project objectives are achieved.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in high-rise construction in NYC.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong emphasis on scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Primavera, Procore, MS Project).
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes in NYC.
