My client is seeking a Project Manager - HV/LV to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of high-voltage and low-voltage electrical works for power stations, substations, and large-scale infrastructure projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to lead complex electrical installations within a long-term program of works. You will be responsible for managing projects from inception to commissioning while focusing on team development and efficient project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrated leadership in health, safety, quality, and environmental management.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Ensure all HV/LV electrical works comply with Australian standards and safety regulations.
- Oversee installation, commissioning, and performance testing of electrical systems.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely issue resolution.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to drive successful outcomes.
Skills & Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience managing HV/LV electrical projects, including power stations, substations, or grid connections.
- Strong knowledge of Australian electrical standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Previous experience working with tier-1 contractors or utility providers is highly regarded.
- Exposure to large-scale infrastructure projects is advantageous.
- Strong multitasking abilities and a proactive approach to project execution.
