Position Overview: As a Geotechnical Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing geotechnical projects from inception to completion. Your responsibilities will include project planning, site investigation, geotechnical analysis, and client coordination. This role requires a hands-on approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate geotechnical projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Conduct site investigations, soil and rock sampling, and geotechnical analyses.
- Prepare detailed geotechnical reports and provide recommendations based on findings.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are met.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams.
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols on project sites.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering and project management.
- Strong knowledge of geotechnical analysis software and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
