Position Overview:
As a Project Manager - Geologist, you will be responsible for overseeing geological projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of relevant experience, strong project management skills, and a deep understanding of geological principles and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee geological projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Conduct geological assessments, field investigations, and data analysis to support project objectives.
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations for clients and regulatory agencies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions for complex geological challenges.
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project goals are met.
- Mentor and guide junior staff, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration within the team.
- Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to enhance service offerings.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards during project execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
