Job Purpose:
Complete installations of BMS Systems by organizing and controlling project elements and progress.
Responsibilities:
Organize Construction Projects:
Accept new projects, complete documentation, analyze timelines, understand requirements, collaborate with teams for scheduling.Hire Electrical Subcontractors:
Review bids, communicate with Sales, maintain subcontract documentation, enforce execution.Direct Electrical Subcontractors:
Review project info, communicate timelines, prioritize completion, ensure proper installation, verify documentation.Order Project Material:
Complete requisition documents, coordinate with panel builder, schedule delivery, communicate storage needs with customer.Bill Construction Projects:
Collaborate with Administration for billing, coordinate with customer for requirements.Communicate Project Information:
Update teams on progress, document jobsite visits, attend meetings, update deadlines, manage change orders.Complete Construction Projects:
Assist technicians with start-up assignments, coordinate modifications, prepare close-out documentation, complete owner training.Achieve Financial Objectives:
Review labor cost reports, initiate corrective actions.Maintain Industry Knowledge:
Attend workshops, review publications, stay updated on installation methods and project management issues.Mentor Junior Project Managers:
Assist in recruiting and training, share technical and installation knowledge.Provide Quality Control:
Enforce safety requirements, ensure proper commissioning, verify task completion, communicate corrections.Contribute to Team Effort: Lead by example, maintain a positive attitude, attend progress meetings, accomplish related tasks.
