We are seeking a full-time applicant for a Project Manager position. Candidates should be familiar with residential, commercial, multi-family, and mixed-use design projects. The candidate must meet project milestones and delivery dates.
Duties:
- Oversee projects from the conception stage through completion.
- Ensure that project teams meet quality, schedule, contractual, and budget goals.
- Manage designers and junior staff, evaluate existing facilities, and formulate project plans.
- Establish and sustain client relations.
- Apply and understand relevant codes and regulations.
- Formulate and oversee project scope, budgets, schedules, and client expectations.
- Responsible for studying the financial aspects of projects; organizing documents and assuming responsibility for finished plans, specifications, and management approval of materials and construction.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- Knowledge of project management software required.
- Must have advanced knowledge of federal, state, and local administrative codes relating to projects.
- Background in solving project management and construction problems.
- Important skills for this managerial position include good written and oral communication skills, decision-making and problem-solving skills, administrative and management skills, leadership and interpersonal skills, advanced computer knowledge, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- 7 to 10 years of applicable experience preferred.
