Project Manager - Building Automation

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee building automation projects in Washington D.C., with a focus on Datacenters and Federal projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, building automation systems, and experience working on large-scale projects. This role requires excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project plans for building automation projects in Datacenters and Federal facilities.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and government agencies, to ensure project success.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client requirements.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, and resolve any issues that arise during project execution.
- Provide regular status updates and reports to project stakeholders.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of building automation systems.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and control project progress, making adjustments as necessary to meet project goals.
- Ensure all project documentation is accurately maintained and securely stored.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in building automation or a related industry.
- Proven experience managing large-scale Datacenter and Federal projects.
- Strong knowledge of building automation systems, including HVAC, lighting, and security systems.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.
