Position Overview:
As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the planning, execution, and completion of our projects. You will work closely with project managers and field crews to ensure that all project milestones are met on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of project schedules, budgets, and reports.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop and maintain project plans.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulations.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to facilitate project execution.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular status updates for stakeholders.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality control.
Experience Needed:
- 2+ years of experience in project engineering or construction management, preferably in heavy civil or water treatment projects.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and techniques.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- EIT certification preferred; PE license is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
