The Role
The Project Director will have responsibility for:
- Overseeing all operations for multiple data center campuses in Osaka, and potentially across Japan.
- Oversee all the operational activities related to electrical, mechanical and management for the campuses.
- Build and lead an exceptional team that will ensure full effectiveness of campuses.
- Collaborate with the engineering, project development, construction and operational teams to ensure full optimization.
- Deliver root cause analysis and ensure corrective/preventive action is taken to minimize downtime
The Role Requirements
The Project Director must have:
- The ability to put strategy into action, and communicate well to work with other internal teams
- Leadership experience in a fast-paced and challenging environment
- Professional level verbal and written communication skills in both English and Japanese
- 10 + years of experience in operating large scale mission critical or data center projects
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering or related fields
