Role Overview: As a Product Owner, with a background in geospatial solutions, you will play a key role in driving the development and deployment of advanced GIS and remote sensing technologies; being responsible for the vision of GIS software interfaces, intergrations, and toolsets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the vision of GIS software interfaces, integrations, and toolsets.
- Engage with stakeholders, and build strong relationships with the GIS community.
- Provide direction to the development of the team.
- Acting as the main point of contact for customers to communicate their product to the development team.
Key Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in remote sensing, GIS, and spatial solution design, with a strong focus on product management.
- Expertise in 3D-GIS, Digital Twins, and applying spatial technologies to solve real-world problems.
- Deep understanding of the integration of remote sensing data, GIS systems, and technology platforms to drive innovation.
- Proven leadership experience, including managing cross-disciplinary teams and mentoring junior professionals.
- Passion for leveraging technology to drive data-led decision-making and improve the management of natural and built environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong background in both the private and public sectors, with a keen ability to understand the unique challenges in these domains.
