Job Description:
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Power Systems Engineer to join our team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in power system analysis and design, with specific expertise in PSSE and PSCAD software. This role will involve working on large-scale renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and battery storage systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct power system studies and simulations using PSSE and PSCAD.
- Design and analyze electrical systems for utility-scale renewable energy projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement project solutions.
- Perform grid connection studies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and project teams.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in renewable energy technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
