Job Title: Principal Consultant - Environmental Remediation
Location: Irvine, CA (Hybrid - 1-2 days per week in office)
Salary Range: $170,000 to $225,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Principal Consultant with a focus on environmental remediation to join our client's team in Irvine. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of industry experience and possess a strong track record in business development, client management, and technical expertise. This senior-level role offers the opportunity to lead major environmental remediation projects while driving business growth and generating substantial new revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex environmental remediation projects, ensuring successful execution, compliance with regulations, and delivery of high-quality results.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business and expand the company's presence in the environmental remediation sector.
- Generate a minimum of $500k in new revenue within the first financial year through business development, new client acquisition, and strategic partnerships.
- Provide expert consultation and guidance on environmental remediation strategies, assessments, and implementation.
- Lead, mentor, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to execute projects and ensure optimal performance.
- Oversee and manage the development of technical proposals, reports, and deliverables.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in environmental remediation.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to promote business growth.
Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of 15 years of experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on environmental remediation.
- Certifications: Current CA PE (Professional Engineer) or PG (Professional Geologist) certification is required.
- Proven ability to generate significant revenue through business development and client acquisition.
- In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations, including federal, state, and local laws governing remediation projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of delivering successful projects.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and drive initiatives in a hybrid work environment.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, or related field.
