We are seeking a highly experienced professional with a robust background in financial statement analysis, expert report preparation, and client interaction. This role involves leading complex business litigation engagements, fostering client relationships, and providing industry, market, and competitor insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage business litigation engagements.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Provide expert insights on target industries, markets, and competitors.
- Review and analyze reports from opposing damages experts.
- Serve as an expert witness and provide testimony when required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Economics, Math, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Over 15 years of experience in economic damage claims and expert testimony.
- Proven track record with a $1mm+ book of business.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in business litigation cases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent project and people management abilities.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily activities in forensic and litigation consulting projects.
- Conduct technical, industry, and company research using online tools and public information.
- Develop work plans and execute analyses to address complex problems.
- Prepare reports and schedules summarizing findings for clients and other parties.
- Apply economic, financial, valuation, and analytical skills to client situations.
- Create written presentations, exhibits, and reports on project scope and results.
- Maintain detailed analyses of assumptions, methodologies, and information sources.
- Supervise junior team members' analyses.
- Collaborate with senior management on practice management and business development.
