Position Overview: As the Principal Civil Engineer specializing in land development, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the design, planning, and execution of a range of land development projects. Leveraging your technical expertise, leadership skills, and industry knowledge, you will collaborate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects that meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership:
- Lead and manage the full lifecycle of land development projects, from concept to completion, ensuring all aspects of engineering design and construction are executed effectively.
- Provide technical direction, mentorship, and guidance to junior engineers and project teams.
Design and Planning:
- Utilize your expertise to develop and oversee the design of land development projects, including site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and roadways.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and industry standards.
Client Engagement:
- Cultivate strong client relationships and serve as the main point of contact for project-related communication.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- CPEng, RPEQ/RPEV - Highly preferred
- 12+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a strong focus on land development projects.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering land development projects.
- Strong proficiency in engineering software and design tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects, teams, and client relationships.
- Thorough understanding of local regulations and industry standards related to land development.
