Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Planner to join our client team for an offshore wind project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, particularly within the renewable energy sector, and will be responsible for overseeing the management and planning of all EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) schedules and related matters. Your proactive attitude and on-site insights will be crucial in making real-time adjustments to ensure robust project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and plan the EPC schedule and related matters for the offshore wind project.
- Utilize Primavera P6 for resource updates, schedule updates, critical path analysis, network diagram creation, and logic adjustments.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure that project milestones and deadlines are met.
- Conduct regular progress assessments and make necessary adjustments to project plans to mitigate risks and address issues.
- Oversee site management and monitor project performance against established benchmarks.
- Participate in project reviews and reporting to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize planning and execution processes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in planning for substations, power plants, or large civil engineering projects, with a preference for projects valued over $2 billion.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale projects, having participated in all phases of project execution.
- Proficient in Primavera P6, with experience executing network diagrams with over 1,500 items.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions quickly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to site management and planning, with keen attention to detail.
