A leading engineering firm is seeking a skilled Senior Project Engineer to join their Water/Wastewater team in Pennsylvania (offices stationed across the whole of PA). Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cutting-edge wastewater treatment systems, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards
- Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to identify optimal solutions for wastewater projects.
- Develop detailed engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates for treatment facilities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including environmental scientists, civil engineers, and project s.
- Utilize advanced modeling software to optimize treatment processes.
- Evaluate and select technologies based on project requirements and objectives.
- Provide technical support during construction and commissioning phases.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Communicate effectively with clients, regulatory authorities, and stakeholders.
- Manage and mentor a team of design engineers, guiding projects from concept to completion.
- Forecast project timelines, prepare schedules, and meet multiple project deadlines.
- Oversee preparation of construction specifications, bid documents, and cost estimates for public sector clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering; PE license required.
- 8+ years of experience in civil/environmental engineering, focusing on wastewater treatment design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or equivalent software for project management.
- Proven experience managing projects, staff, scope, schedules, quality, and budgets.
- Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in English for job-related communication.
