Location: USA (Remote in San Francisco Bay Area)
Our client, a leading renewables developer is seeking an experienced Permitting and Planning Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing permitting and land use entitlements, coordination of AHJs (Authority Handling Jurisdiction), representing the companies projects at public hearings.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct site assessments, constraints analyses
- Secure discretionary & ministerial permits
- Manage technical & environmental studies
- Coordinate with design engineers & SMEs
- Select contractors/vendors/consultants
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate should possess expertise on the permit processing regulations specific to CAISO region
- A bachelor's degree or higher education level
- Experience working with local authorities handling jurisdictional matters such as zoning boards/district councils
