Job Description: The company is seeking a dynamic and bilingual Originator to join the team in Japan. The successful candidate will focus on coordinating finance for solar and wind projects, ensuring seamless collaboration between developers, financial institutions, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and originate new solar and wind project opportunities in Japan.
- Coordinate and manage the financing process for renewable energy projects, including securing funding from financial institutions and investors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with developers, financial partners, and other key stakeholders.
- Conduct financial analysis and due diligence to assess project viability and risks.
- Negotiate and structure financing agreements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Monitor project progress and provide ongoing support to ensure successful project execution.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes affecting renewable energy projects in Japan.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project finance, investment banking, or a related field, preferably within the renewable energy sector.
- Proven track record of coordinating finance for large-scale renewable energy projects.
- Basic understanding of financial modeling, project finance structures, and risk assessment.
- Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to identify and capitalize on new opportunities.
Preferred Skills:
