Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and deliver onshore wind projects from the planning stage to commissioning.
- Meet project goals while adhering to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
- Negotiate and manage various contracts, including TSA and BoP contracts.
- Prepare and present project and financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Identify and implement improvements for project execution proactively.
- Provide regular status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, financial records, and compliance documents.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints.
- Monitor project progress and adjust as needed to resolve issues.
- Develop and sustain strong relationships with landowners, local communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Organize and participate in public consultations and meetings to present project plans and address concerns.
- Collaborate with all project functional areas: Engineering, Grid, ESG, Finance, Accounting, Legal.
Main requirements:
- Proven experience in managing onshore wind projects, with a strong understanding of Japan wind and renewable energy market
- Fluent English and Japanese communication (written and spoken)
- Highly adept in project management, encompassing planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk mitigation.
- Capable of working independently and within a diverse team.
- Actively shares expertise in onshore wind development with junior team members through on-the-job training.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, effectively engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
