As an Office Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our surveying projects. Your extensive experience and expertise will support field operations and contribute to the successful completion of various surveying assignments. This position requires a strong understanding of surveying principles, advanced technical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret field data to create detailed survey maps and reports.
- Coordinate with field survey teams to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and review survey drawings, plats, and legal descriptions.
- Utilize advanced surveying software and equipment for data processing.
- Conduct quality control checks on survey data and deliverables.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior survey staff.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional surveying experience.
- Professional Surveyor (PS) license in the state of Ohio is preferred.
- Proficient in using surveying software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS).
- Strong knowledge of surveying principles, techniques, and equipment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license.
