As a O&M Performance Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring optimal asset performance by monitoring key contractual deliverables, developing automated reporting solutions, and leveraging data-driven insights. Your expertise in performance analytics will contribute directly to the efficiency and reliability of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of performance optimization and reporting strategies.
- Analyze key performance indicators to track asset reliability and efficiency.
- Gather and interpret SCADA data from turbines and BoP systems to detect trends and performance deviations.
- Diagnose technical issues affecting wind farm performance, propose solutions, and assess their impact.
- Work closely with Asset and O&M teams to address faults, improve reliability, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Design and implement predictive analytics models using Python, R, MATLAB, or other programming tools.
- Support early detection of potential component failures through advanced analytics.
- Prepare detailed reports and ensure seamless integration of automated reporting processes.
- Conduct power curve and reliability test analyses to assess performance.
- Explore new areas for performance enhancement through innovative data analytics.
- Drive the implementation of impactful proof-of-concept projects.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation and integration of performance solutions.
- Monitor contractual warranties and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance.
- Enhance commercial reporting by automating data-driven insights.
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools to improve decision-making processes.
What We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in performance management, ideally in offshore energy projects.
- Strong expertise in SCADA data analysis and energy production methodologies.
- Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, or similar programming languages.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver high-impact business intelligence solutions.
- Excellent analytical skills with a commercial mindset.
- Experience in rapid development and deployment of data-driven solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and wind turbine systems.
- Background in offshore wind projects and knowledge of their operational processes.
- Familiarity with IT systems and ability to adapt quickly to new software tools.
