Summary
Our national level client with over 100 years in the business are looking for a Municipal Engineering Project Manager to manage complex municipal engineering projects and build strong client relationships.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Project Management
- Oversee entitlement reviews and ensure compliance with local ordinances.
- Develop and manage multi-year CIP programs.
- Lead projects in transportation, traffic, stormwater management, and utility improvements.
- Coordinate communications with city departments, public agencies, and stakeholders.
- Review and approve project scopes, budgets, and contracts.
- Manage QA/QC processes and secure necessary permits.
Business Development
- Identify and pursue project opportunities.
- Lead presentations and represent the company during project interviews.
- Expand client relationships through exceptional service.
Client and Team Communications
- Maintain strong client relationships and coordinate project invoicing and collections.
- Act as the primary point of contact for contractors, sub-consultants, and project teams.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in municipal engineering or public infrastructure.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
- Experience with permitting processes and QA/QC protocols.
- Strong project management skills.
- Proven ability to mentor and lead technical teams.
- Familiarity with funding programs and municipal regulations.
Compensation Range $135,000 - $175,000. Final compensation is based on various factors including education, experience, and location.
