We have a current opportunity for a Mission Critical Technology Designer on a permanent basis. The position will be based in Boston but remote candidates may also be considered. For further information about this position please apply.
TYPICAL DUTIES
- Design and manage IT, security, and AV systems from planning to completion.
- Meet with clients and stakeholders to develop designs within budgets and standards (BICSI, AVIXA, ASIS).
- Coordinate schedules, designs, and pricing with internal teams and vendors.
- Design systems including structured cabling, access control, video surveillance, and more.
- Provide engineering support throughout projects and address issues with solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS
- RCDD preferred (or ability to obtain in 6 months).
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience preferred.
- Knowledge of industry standards and data center design.
- Proficient in Revit, Bluebeam, and design tools.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
