My client is a national consulting firm that is specifically focused on water/wastewater treatment, design, and construction. They are looking for an experienced Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to join our team and contribute to our mission of becoming the industry's top consulting firm. In this role, you'll work on key projects related to municipal water and wastewater treatment, including major plant expansions, regional water quality assessments, and advanced water reuse initiatives aimed at building sustainable water systems for communities around the world.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead process design efforts for water and wastewater treatment facilities, including providing engineering services and overseeing construction management.
- Design engineering solutions, prepare technical reports, develop detailed plans and specifications, and generate cost estimates for water and wastewater projects, including regulatory permitting and analysis of alternatives.
- Monitor project performance and ensure compliance with design plans and specifications through on-site inspections and testing.
- Assist in preparing technical memorandums, detailed reports, and electronic deliverables for clients.
- Conduct data analysis and support field activities such as site assessments and pilot testing.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, with the ability to apply critical thinking and innovative problem-solving techniques.
- 6 to 12 years of hands-on experience in water and wastewater treatment design, with expertise in hydraulics, chemical, physical, and biological treatment processes, and treatment plant design.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong client communication skills and experience managing project teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Registered as a Professional Engineer (PE).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
