Mechanical Engineer - HVAC Design (Revit)

We are a leading MEP engineering firm seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and implementation of HVAC systems for a variety of projects using Revit software.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings using Revit.
- Collaborate with project teams to determine project requirements and specifications.
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments to ensure system performance and efficiency.
- Prepare detailed engineering calculations, specifications, and construction documents.
- Perform system simulations, energy modeling, and load calculations.
- Review and approve shop drawings, equipment submittals, and other project-related documents.
- Provide technical expertise and support during construction, commissioning, and testing phases.
- Stay updated with industry codes, standards, and advancements in HVAC technology.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, specifically in HVAC design.
- Proficient in using Revit for HVAC system design.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations related to HVAC systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with energy modeling software such as eQuest or TRACE is a plus.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is preferred.
