Mechanical Project Manager - HVAC
The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional self-management skills, taking full ownership of project planning, execution, and completion. They will be responsible for making critical decisions autonomously, ensuring that all project milestones are met on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Manage pre-construction, planning, and scheduling.
- Approve project budgets and allocate resources.
- Negotiate subcontractor contracts.
- Oversee project finances and profitability.
- Resolve design conflicts with engineers and architects.
- Lead strategic planning and change order processes.
- Implement cost reports and projections.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Maintain client relationships and pursue new opportunities.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or 5+ years related experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading construction projects up to $15 million.
- Varitey of HVAC experience (Chilled Water Systems, cooling towers, VRF, RTU, HRV)
Qualifications:
- Mechanical knowledge and project management expertise
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Projects, Office, Excel, Word; experience with AutoBid, P6 Scheduler, and Bluebeam preferred.
