Company Overview
Recently partnered with a growing Mechanical Contractor (TOP 50 ENR) specializing in large industrial and commercial construction projects across the US. They're currently seeking an experienced Project Manager for large mission critical facility project in Columbus, OH - They also have other projects across the Midwest with a backlog stretching over the next 5 years.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all Mechanical scope of work on the project, including planning, design, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
- Develop and manage project schedules and budgets
- Coordinate with other project teams and stakeholders to ensure that MEP work is integrated seamlessly with other disciplines
- Manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring that work is completed on time and within budget
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that work is being carried out to the required standard and that any issues are addressed promptly
- Provide regular progress reports to senior management
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Mechanical construction for large-scale projects
- Experience working on projects over $15M in value (mechanical scopes)
- Strong knowledge of different piping systems, HVAC and construction practices
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Familiarity with project management software and tools
