Mechanical Engineer

Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be passionate about precision, innovation, and sustainable design. You will be instrumental in creating Revit models, developing construction documents, and ensuring compliance with client and industry standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed Revit models of mechanical and plumbing systems according to client specifications and industry standards.
• Produce comprehensive construction documents from Revit models, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
• Perform engineering calculations, select equipment, and design layouts for mechanical systems.
• Size and design ductwork, hydronic, and plumbing piping systems to meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams through QA/QC processes and participate in clash detection using Revit.
• Create flow diagrams and control systems for mechanical systems.
• Conduct energy calculations and modeling to support sustainable design practices.
• Provide Life Cycle Cost Analysis (LCCA) to evaluate the long-term viability of system solutions.
• Stay updated with relevant codes, standards, and industry guidelines.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from an A.B.E.T. Accredited Program.
• At least seven (7) years of relevant experience in mechanical and plumbing system engineering.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the residing state or the ability to obtain reciprocity is required.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD software applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Commitment to high-quality work and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Pre-employment drug test and background check required.
• Valid driver's license required.
