They are seeking an experienced Managing Director to lead their operations in the transmission and distribution (T&D) industry. The ideal candidate will come from an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) background and possess strong operational and commercial experience within the T&D sector. This role is crucial for driving their strategy and enhancing brand recognition in the Southeast Region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the organization's value, mission, vision, and strategy, ensuring alignment with regional goals.
- Develop a profound understanding of the local energy market to inform decision-making and strategic initiatives.
- Position the company as a pioneer in the T&D market, effectively branding products and solutions to enhance recognition.
- Increase awareness of the company's offerings among TSO (Transmission System Operator) companies and relevant stakeholders.
- Identify and explore business leads to achieve annual targets and maximize market share and margins.
- Lead the team in conducting market research, analysis, and marketing activities in alignment with business strategy.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers within government, industry organizations, and target customers.
- Set up and manage the regional team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in the T&D industry, preferably with a background in EPC companies.
- Strong operational and commercial management skills, with a focus on achieving P&L targets.
- In-depth knowledge of the local energy market and T&D projects.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of driving business growth.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
