Manager - NetZero & Carbon
Responsibilities:
Research and Innovation:
- Guide the direction of the products to ensure market leadership, adapting to new regional and international regulations.
- Develop and maintain roadmap and strategy to secure technological advantage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, engineering, product) to design innovative decarbonization solutions - Green Hydrogen/Ammonia, LCA, VPPA, and Carbon Credits.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and market needs related to digital battery solutions.
- Lead the development of prototypes and proof-of-concepts to ensure alignment with the product/solution roadmap.
Business Development and Customer Engagement:
- Engage in deep and meaningful conversations with clients, leveraging in-depth knowledge of Net Zero strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on carbon reduction strategies, emissions reporting, and sustainability initiatives.
- Develop and implement strategies to capture customer demand, working closely with Sales and GTM colleagues.
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships within the Net Zero space.
Team Management and Partnership:
- Build and lead a multidisciplinary team of experts in carbon accounting, carbon offsetting, renewable energy, and related fields.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Represent the organization at conferences, workshops, and other forums to promote thought leadership in carbon management and sustainability.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Sustainability/Environmental/Chemical or a related field (Master's or higher preferred).
- At least 10 years of experience in Carbon Accounting, Consulting, or decarbonization field with strong technical knowledge.
- Consulting background strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of carbon accounting principles, greenhouse gas emissions quantification methodologies, and carbon offsetting mechanisms.
- Proven experience in strategic planning, team management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
- Proven track record of engaging government funding bodies and stakeholders in CoE management and audits.
- Experience working in a global, matrixed organization is a plus.
- Passion for sustainability and decarbonization preferred.
This position will be based in Singapore.
