Position: Low Voltage Security Engineer/Estimator
Location: NY/NJ (40% Travel Required)
Salary: $60,000 - $100,000 per year
Job Description:
Our client is seeking a skilled Low Voltage Security Engineer/Estimator to join their team. This role involves providing technical support to clients and technicians, both on-site and remotely. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with security systems, including LenelS2, Avigilon, and Brivo/Eagle Eye.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients and technicians in resolving technical issues.
- Estimate installation hours based on construction drawings and site visits.
- Prepare and present quotes and proposals.
- Troubleshoot various circuit types and basic networking issues.
Qualifications:
- Basic hands-on experience with low voltage security installations.
- Strong understanding of series/parallel circuits and supervised/unsupervised circuits.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Willingness to travel approximately 40% to job sites in NY and NJ.
