Position Overview:
As an AV Live Events Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in cultivating and expanding relationships with key clients in the audiovisual and live events industry. You will be responsible for understanding client needs, developing customized AV solutions, and ensuring the seamless delivery of services for high-impact events in Las Vegas. Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Develop, foster, and maintain long-term relationships with both new and existing clients, understanding their specific audiovisual needs.
- Serve as the main point of contact, ensuring a seamless and satisfying customer experience by aligning AV solutions with client expectations and event goals.
Client Consultations & Needs Assessments:
- Conduct in-depth consultations to fully grasp the client's event vision, challenges, and technical requirements.
- Provide expert guidance and recommend innovative AV solutions tailored to their unique needs, ensuring successful event execution.
Customized AV Solutions Development:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including technical experts and project managers, to design and deliver tailored AV solutions that meet the client's technical specifications, budget, and timeline.
- Advocate for client needs, ensuring that all proposed solutions align with the event's goals and deliver an exceptional experience.
Business Development & Growth:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within your client portfolio, including upselling additional services, recommending new technologies, and expanding relationships to drive revenue growth.
- Actively engage with clients to explore future AV opportunities, fostering long-term business relationships.
Sales Proposals & Presentations:
- Prepare and deliver impactful sales presentations, proposals, and quotations, clearly demonstrating the value of the company's AV solutions.
- Simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders, delivering clear and compelling presentations to clients at all organizational levels.
Collaboration & Project Coordination:
- Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and other internal stakeholders to ensure the flawless execution of live events, from planning to completion.
- Serve as the client's advocate throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring clear communication and timely delivery of all AV services.
Industry Knowledge & Competitor Analysis:
- Stay current on the latest industry trends, emerging AV technologies, and competitor offerings in the Las Vegas live events space.
- Provide insights to both clients and internal teams on opportunities for innovation and how to position the company as a leader in the local market.
Client Satisfaction & Continuous Improvement:
- Continuously monitor and assess client satisfaction during and after the event, proactively addressing any concerns that arise.
- Gather post-event feedback to drive continuous improvement and ensure that client expectations are consistently exceeded.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of account management or sales experience in the audiovisual and live events industry.
- Proven track record of managing client accounts, meeting or exceeding sales goals, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Technical Expertise:
- Solid understanding of AV technologies, including sound systems, video displays, lighting, and event management software.
- Ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Sales Acumen:
- Demonstrated success in executing sales strategies that result in significant revenue growth.
- Experience in preparing proposals, quotations, and presentations that communicate value and inspire client confidence.
Communication & Negotiation Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively with clients and internal teams.
