Role Responsibilities:
Lead a team of engineers in the assessment, design, and execution of parking garage restoration projects in compliance with Local Law 126.
Oversee façade restoration and structural rehabilitation projects, ensuring quality and adherence to NYC regulations.
Project management of façade, roof, plaza, and garage repair projects.
Manage client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
Develop and implement project strategies, budgets, and timelines to meet client and regulatory requirements.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging industry connections to expand the firm's client base.
Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering professional growth and high performance.
Conduct on-site inspections, evaluations, and reporting to support project deliverables and compliance standards.
Role Requirements:
Professional Engineer (PE) license in New York State is required.
Qualified Parking Structures Inspector (QPSI) certification is desirable.
Extensive experience in parking garage restoration and rehabilitation projects within NYC.
Strong knowledge of Local Law 126 and other relevant structural regulations.
Proven ability to lead and manage engineering teams on multiple projects.
Demonstrated experience in client management, business development, and networking within the industry.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to guide teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
Experience in façade restoration projects is a plus.
