Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Land Development Project Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing various land development projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry best practices. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on exciting projects, from concept through completion, in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and design civil site plans, including grading, drainage, utilities, and erosion control.
Perform engineering calculations, feasibility studies, and technical analysis.
Assist in obtaining permits and regulatory approvals from local, state, and federal agencies.
Collaborate with project managers, clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
Ensure designs adhere to industry standards, environmental guidelines, and client requirements.
Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software for drafting and design.
Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and ensure compliance with project plans.
Support senior engineers and project managers with project coordination and documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
2+ years of experience in land development, site design, or civil engineering.
EIT certification required; PE license preferred or ability to obtain in the future.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design software.
Strong understanding of land development processes, permitting, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
