We are seeking a talented and driven Project Engineer, PE to join our growing Municipal team in our North Carolina office.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Manage and oversee the planning, scheduling, and performance of multiple engineering projects, both design and construction.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers to understand client needs and expectations.
- Review and/or prepare preliminary reports and feasibility studies.
- Interpret engineering plans, specifications, and reports to ensure project success.
- Provide technical guidance on design, construction, or repairs to clients, contractors, and team members.
- Assist with business development activities, including client outreach, research, and proposal preparation.
- Coordinate construction administration and monitor documentation requirements with field staff.
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of North Carolina.
- 4+ years of experience in the civil engineering field, with a preference for municipal infrastructure experience.
- Proficient in plan and specification development and construction contract administration.
- Skilled in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Strong knowledge of NC DOT requirements.
- Valid driver's license, as travel to various job sites may be required.
