About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Key Account Manager to lead client relationships and drive sales of energy storage solutions in the renewable energy sector. This role is pivotal in managing key accounts, fostering partnerships, and ensuring the successful delivery of tailored solutions to meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as their primary point of contact.
- Develop and implement account strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share in the energy storage sector.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their energy storage requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Drive the sales cycle, including proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.
- Work closely with internal teams, including engineering and operations, to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports on account performance, sales forecasts, and market analysis for senior management.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to strengthen brand presence and network with potential clients.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in account management or sales, preferably within the renewable energy or energy storage sectors.
- Strong understanding of energy storage systems and solutions, including battery energy storage systems (BESS).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
