K-12 Project Architect OR Architectural Project Manager

One of the major players in the K-12 Architecture and Design market is seeking a Project Architect or Architectural Project Manager to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of K-12 experience and will have worked with the Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA) in the past. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be a Registered Architect or actively pursuing licensure, and comfortable working on large scale projects. See below for additional details:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead architectural projects from the initial concept through to construction administration, focusing on K-12 educational facilities.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies, ensuring project requirements and standards are met.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and staffing plans to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Utilize Revit for project design, documentation, and coordination.
- Prepare and present design concepts, construction documents, and project updates to clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building regulations and codes, with a focus on MSBA guidelines.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, contractors, and consultants, to ensure project success.
- Resolve design and construction issues promptly and efficiently.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in K-12 educational facility projects.
- Preferably experienced with the Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA).
- Licensed architect or actively pursuing licensure.
