Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Concrete Engineer to join our client who is a renowned Japanese general contractor in Tokyo. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete technology, structural engineering, and engineering design skills. You will be responsible for overseeing concrete projects from design to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage concrete engineering projects
- Develop and review concrete mix designs
- Conduct structural analysis and design
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
- Prepare and present project reports
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in concrete engineering
- Proficiency in structural analysis software
- Strong knowledge of concrete materials and construction methods
- Excellent project management and leadership skills
- Fluent in Japanese; proficiency in English is a plus
