We are currently seeking a qualified Installation and Commissioning (I&C) Manager with a background in electrical engineering, particularly in the installation, testing, and management of power plants or substations. The ideal candidate should possess proficiency in English language skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing). Position will be based in Changhua.
The responsibilities for this position include:
Team Management and Reporting:
Manage the I&C team, ensuring members have a comprehensive understanding of various owner specifications.
Report progress, current status, and challenges to the site manager.
Project Planning and Safety:
Develop installation and testing plans for projects, ensuring preventive measures are in place to avoid hazards.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Collaborate and coordinate with the owner and various stakeholders to facilitate the progress of I&C work.
Resource Management:
Ensure timely and adequate allocation of manpower, materials, equipment, and instruments required for installation and testing.
System Integration:
Collaborate with Taiwan Power Company (ๅฐ้ป) or relevant entities to seamlessly integrate into the system.
Lead the creation of system integration procedure documents, including all method statements, diagrams, site instructions, deviation lists, base design comments, various tests, switching programs, relay setting calculations, equipment data sheets and specifications, relay manuals, relay testing software, and any other necessary items.
Commissioning:
Participate in the commissioning of facilities.
Emergency Procedures:
Develop emergency response procedures for power outage and restoration during the testing period.
Meeting Participation and Reporting:
Attend various project-related meetings with internal teams, owners, and other relevant units.
Provide necessary presentations and explanations.
LOTO Procedure:
Develop Lockout and Tagout (LOTO) procedure documents.
Payment Applications:
Review and approve payment applications submitted by sub-contractors.
Construction Drawings:
Review construction and as-built drawings provided by contractors.
Quality Control:
Review Field Design Change Notices (FDCN) and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
Daily Reporting:
Provide daily reports for supervisor confirmation regarding work content and progress.
Qualifications:
Experience in substations and power plants, specifically with a voltage rating of 69kV and above.
Bachelor in Electrical Engineering or relevant.
Proficiency in Mandarin and English.
