Job Duties:
- Act as the department head for bridge inspection projects for MDOT and local municipalities.
- Provide guidance, leadership, and training to the inspection team, including construction engineers, inspectors, and document technicians.
- Oversee and manage projects such as bridge demolition, traffic staging operations, traffic signal installation, roadway paving, and highway bridge projects.
- Travel to job sites (no overnight stays) with a company vehicle, phone, and laptop provided.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- PE License in Michigan (preferred).
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong backgroudn in bridge inspection and mentoring other inspectors
