Industrial Development Project Manager:
Our client, a leading firm with a diverse portfolio spanning residential, energy, commercial, light industrial, and public projects, is seeking a talented Project Manager to join their team. This role offers the chance to work on impactful projects while developing leadership skills in a collaborative and supportive environment.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects that meet client expectations. This includes overseeing internal team members, coordinating with third-party contractors and consultants, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and leader who can drive project success while maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and establish project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring quality control throughout the project lifecycle
Develop project objectives and timelines, clearly communicating them to stakeholders
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and leading client meetings
Oversee the preparation of project proposals
Manage and assign workloads for a team of technicians
Provide regular project status updates and performance reports to executive leadership
Ensure projects adhere to contractual agreements and regulatory requirements
Coordinate with clients, external agencies, and consultants for project approvals and reviews
Resolve project-related challenges and client concerns efficiently
Manage client invoicing and track accounts receivable
Develop and maintain business relationships with existing client contacts
Foster a positive team environment through mentoring, coaching, and training
Perform other project and supervisory duties as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or 10 years of relevant experience; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
4+ years of experience managing or assisting in managing projects in design and construction-related fields
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Deltek
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Experience managing and mentoring a team
