Job Description:
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Building Automation Engineer with extensive experience in datacenters, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and Ignition software. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, programming, and maintaining building automation systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement building automation systems for datacenters.
- Program and configure PLCs to control various building systems, including HVAC, lighting, and security.
- Utilize Ignition software to create and manage HMI/SCADA systems for monitoring and controlling building operations.
- Perform system integration, testing, and commissioning of automation systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to building automation systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions.
- Provide remote support and maintenance for existing automation systems.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve system performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in building automation, with a focus on datacenters.
- Proficiency in programming and configuring PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
- Strong experience with Ignition software for HMI/SCADA applications.
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems in datacenters.
